Yin Yoga Classes
Yin yoga classes are currently offered free of charge at the Open Heart Energy’s office space in Cary, NC. These classes are instructed by Ronen Divon, and offered most Tuesdays from 6:30-7:45pm.
Class size is limited to 6 participants. Props are provided.

About Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga uses traditional yoga asanas (postures) that require less effort, but have a deep effect by stretching of connective tissue and opening of pathways to allow flow of energy. To quote Paul Grilley, "The main differences between Yin (internalized and relaxed) and Yang (more strenuous and external) Yoga practices are that Yin postures should be done with the muscles relaxed and held for an extended time. This is because connective tissue does not stretch like muscles and will not respond well to brief stresses." Connective tissue carries trauma, and by allowing it to stretch, we assist the body in releasing that which no longer serves us.
